What is NEI Conferences

Founded in 2005, NEI Conferences is an educational organization that integrates continuing education into travel experiences and interdisciplinary educational forums worldwide.

What is Travel & Learn?

Travel & Learn is NEI Conferences’ original educational model. It allows healthcare professionals to integrate accredited continuing education into their existing travel plans.

Participants select their destination, travel dates, and educational programme, then complete their continuing education while travelling. Educational content is accessed through the MyNEI Portal and is tailored to the participant’s selected programme and travel schedule.

Since 2005, healthcare professionals have used Travel & Learn to combine continuing education with personal and professional travel experiences worldwide.

Who can participate?

NEI educational programmes are designed for healthcare professionals, including physicians, dentists, nurses, dental technicians, clinic administrators, and other healthcare personnel, depending on the educational programme selected.

What are Interdisciplinary Forums?

Interdisciplinary Forums are discussion-based educational experiences that bring together professionals from different disciplines to explore a specific clinical topic through case-based learning, collaboration, and professional exchange.

Are Interdisciplinary Forums open to everyone?

Yes, interdisciplinary forums welcome professionals from a variety of disciplines. Forums are intentionally limited in size and may be invitation-based or require approval to ensure a balanced group and meaningful discussion environment. Upcoming forum topics will continue to be added to the website.

Why are forums limited in size?

Interdisciplinary forums are created to encourage meaningful discussion, professional exchange, and relationship building. Smaller groups allow participants to engage directly with one another, explore complex topics in greater depth, and benefit from multiple professional perspectives.

Do I need to travel to participate in a Travel & Learn programme?

Yes. Travel & Learn programmes are designed to integrate continuing education into travel. Participants complete their educational programme while travelling and therefore must be away from their primary residence during the programme period.

Can I use an itinerary that I have already planned?

Yes. This is the reason NEI Conferences was established. If you already have travel plans, NEI Conferences can help you identify an educational programme that fits your destination, schedule, and professional interests.

What lecture topics are available?

NEI Conferences offers educational content in a variety of fields, including medical, dental, ethics, professional practice, genetics, pain management, sleep medicine, orthodontics, and periodontics. Available topics may evolve over time and are designed to support a broad range of healthcare professionals.

What is MyNEI Portal?

MyNEI Portal is the secure participant site where delegates can access their educational programmes, complete required forms, view assigned courses, and manage their learning activities.

How do I access my lectures?

Once your registration has been processed, you will be able to use your login credentials and access your educational programme through the MyNEI Portal.

How do I create an account?

New participants can create an account through the ‘Create Account’ section found under the MyNEI menu tab at the top of the website.

What are Online Forms?

Online Forms provide access to all the registration forms found in your MyNEI and are required before participating in an educational programme. Once completed, the forms are directly submitted online to NEI Conferences and a copy is sent to your email address on file. 

How much does a Travel & Learn Programme cost?

Programme fees vary depending on the educational series selected and the number of continuing education hours required. Current programme fees are available in the section ‘Registration & Fees’ from the drop-down menu at the top of the website. The information is also available in your MyNEI and you will be prompted to choose your category when registering.

How do I pay for my programme?

Programme fees are paid securely online through PayPal from your MyNEI. A PayPal account is not required, and multiple credit card payment options are available. There is no fee for the participant to use PayPal.

I have just registered. Why do I not see my courses yet?

Travel & Learn programmes are destination and date specific. Once your registration has been received, our team manually reviews and prepares your educational programme to ensure it corresponds with your selected destination, travel dates, and educational requirements.

You will receive updates throughout the process, including confirmation that your registration has been received, when programme preparation is underway, and when your courses have been activated and are ready for access.

Do I need to travel with a group?

No. Travel & Learn programmes are designed around your own travel plans. Participants may travel independently, with family, with colleagues, or as part of a personal itinerary. NEI Conferences does not require participants to join a group tour.

Can Accompanying Persons participate?

Yes. Many NEI Conferences’ programmes welcome accompanying spouses, partners, family members, or friends travelling with a registered healthcare professional. Depending on the programme selected, accompanying persons may participate in designated social and cultural activities. As accompanying persons do not participate in the accredited educational programme, continuing education credits are not available.

Can NEI Conferences assist with travel arrangements?

Yes. While NEI Conferences is not a travel agency and does not book airfare, hotels, or other travel services, our team has extensive experience helping delegates plan educational travel worldwide. We are always pleased to offer guidance, share useful websites and resources, and provide practical suggestions to assist with your planning.
